A. Latar Belakang Tentang Game.

                Halo sahabat !! Apa kabar lagi dengan saya tetap di Lensa Olahraga ANTV !! Hehehe… Jika sebentar lagi liburan lalu apa kalian udah siap-siap untuk refreshing dengan main game ? Jika sudah siap-siap lalu apa game itu ? Menurut pengetahuan penulis, Game adalah Suatu permainan yang dapat mengubah keadaan. Maksudnya bukan merubah nasib lho ya !! melainkan merubah keadaan pemain yang mula-mula tak bisa menjadi mahir dalam bermain. Tapi apa itu menguntungkan bagi kita ? Beberapa peneliti dari University of Rochester di New York, Amerika melakukan riset mengenai pengaruh positif dari bermain game. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa para pemain game ini memiliki fokus yang lebih terhadap apa yang terjadi di sekelilingnya, jika dibandingkan dengan mereka-mereka yang jarang main game, apalagi yang tidak main sama sekali. Dan menurut Dosen Bavelier “Hasil penelitian kami ini juga sangat mengejutkan karena proses belajar lewat main game ternyata cepat diserap seseorang. Dengan kata lain, game dapat membantu melatih orang orang yang memiliki problem dalam berkonsentrasi". Lalu apa salah yang dibilang orang tua bahwa game adalah permainan yang dapat merusak pribadi seseorang ? tentu kita semua pasti bertanya-tanya, tentang itu !! iya kan ? Itu juga benar ungkapnya, bahwa itu termasuk penilaian dari Negative Thinking yang beranggapan game adalah dapat merusak konsentrasi seseorang. Dan ketahuilah teman-teman mulai detik ini bahwa “Game dapat mempercepat proses belajar, dengan kata lain game dapat membantu melatih orang yang memiliki problem dalam berkonsentrasi.”

B. Pengenalan Tentang GPI dan Pemrakarsa Divine Kids.

                Tahukah kamu apa itu GPI teman ? Jika Iklan di televisi GPU / (Gosok Pijat Urut) , Maka apa kepanjangan dari GPI itu teman ? Tanpa disadari kita semua warga Negara Indonesia yang beragam suku dan budaya yang menyeluruh terbentang dari sabang hingga merauke tidak mengenal dengan GPI. Kita selalu beranggapan bahwa Indonesia tidak dapat membuat game yang bagus dan layak dimainkan dan oleh karena itu kita membeli produk-produk buatan luar negeri seperti Playstation yang berjuta-juta mahalnya itu. Tetapi apabila anda membaca artikel ini sampai habis maka anda akan termotivasi untuk menghormati karya bangsa. Jika kalian termasuk menghormati karya bangsa Indonesia maka tahukah kamu bahwa Kepanjangan dari GPI Itu, GPI adalah Game Pertama Indonesia yang diresmikan oleh Presiden SBY pada 26 Juni 2009 tahun lalu. Melatar belakangi Game Pertama Indonesia, siapa pembuat atau yang memprakarsai GPI ini ? Pada awalnya yang memprakarsai adalah Dosen David Setiabudi,S.Sn,AmRO yang memulai dengan mendesain komik-komik. Beliau lulusan di Fakultas Desain Univ.Tarumanagara  dan menamatkan (S1). Lalu Melanjutkan jurusan Refraksinis Optisien (Kedokteran Optik Mata D3). Meskipun beliau tidak menempuh jurusan pemrograman computer tetapi dia belajar sedikit sedikit dengan temannya di Universitas Tarumanegara. Game pertama itu diberi nama Divine Kids ^TM  Yang beranggotakan teman-teman di Fakultas Desain Univ. Tarumanegara. Beliau membuat game tersebut karena prihatin melihat orang bangsa Indonesia yang menggunakan game Negara lain, dan pak David bertanya-tanya mengapa Orang Indonesia kok tidak memilih gamenya sendiri padahal Indonesia Beragam budaya yang dapat dimotivasikan kedalam sebuah Game yang Asli 100% Buatan Indonesia Dan sejak itulah titik awal pembuatan game Indonesia. Setelah itu beliau terus berkarya dengan gamenya sendiri itu hingga puluhan game yang termotivasi oleh Orang Indonesia. Kita harus mampu membayangkan betapa besarnya cita-cita Pak David yang ingin memajukan bangsa Indonesia dengan pembuatan game asli Indonesia Itu. Semua itu berkat Kerja Sama dan Rasa Ingin Tahu Pak David sebagai seseorang yang memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi tentang sebuah mahakarya game.

C. Sekilas tentang Divine Kids.

                Mengapa Game Divine Kids Disebut Game Pertama Indonesia ? Katanya David mengakui sebelum dirinya telah banyak orang-orang di Indonesia telah membuat game, tetapi kenapa DIVINE KIDS disebut Game Pertama Indonesia? Dari pertama komputer diciptakan dan masuk di Indonesia sampai sekarang, David yakin pasti ada beberapa orang di Indonesia yang pernah membuat game. Game-game  tsb dibuat menggunakan komputer sebelum era prossor pentium seperti sekarang.

David sendiri membuat game pesawat "SIEGE" (tahun 1992) dengan program GWBASIC secara underground sewaktu SMA.Game ini dibagikan ke teman-teman sendiri karena hobby. Sewaktu SMA dan sedang membuat game tersebut, David pun mendengar ada game Indonesia, meski tidak melihat secara langsung. Yang dia mainkan adalah game-game asing.

(saat itu sebenarnya sudah ada beberapa game Indonesia, walau karakternya diambil dari karakter asing seperti Street Fighter atau Dragon Ball, atau karakter komik Amerika, atau game yang tersebar terbatas seperti SIEGE buatan David tersebut. Game berbahasa Inggris, ada juga terjemahan dari game asing buatan WNA, ada juga game editan dari game asing, dll. Apakah game tersebut bisa disebut Game Pertama Indonesia nantinya? Misalkan : Dragon Ball - Game Pertama Indonesia???) itu semua tidaklah mungkin. Karena game yang  asli buatan Indonesia adalah game yang diciptakan oleh warga Negara Indonesia serta mendapatkan pengakuan pihak-pihak tertentu.

D. Intropeksi Diri Terhadap Bangsa Indonesia.

                Tahukah kamu Bangsa Indonesia Itu ? Bangsa Indonesia itu terbentang luas dari sabang kepulauan aceh hingga merauke kepulauan Papua. Semua itu terbentang memiliki kebudayaan dan suku-suku yang berbeda-beda yang memiliki bahasa yang beragam. Semua itu kekayaan alam milik kita, sedangkan game adalah kekayaan pikiran bangsa yang tak ternilai harganya buat bangsa Negara. Oleh karena itu game termasuk karya ilmiah kita yang dapat mengubah segalanya, mulai dari pengetahuan, Pemikiran, sudut pandang, serta dapat mempercepat proses belajar mengajar kita disekolah dan ditempat umum lainnya. Lalu apakah Orang Indonesia sudah memulai untuk menerima hasil karya Pak David Setiabudi ? Semoga saja dengan artikel ini penulis mengaharapkan bahwa Negara Indonesia Bisa untuk maju serta dapat melampaui bangsa bangsa yang sudah ber Era-Modern Ini. Insyaallah, penulis akan mengupayakan penulisan ini supaya dapat memberi karakteristik yang memadahi untuk seluruh Rakyat Indonesia. Tahukah anda Bahwa game ini sudah di download oleh berbagai Negara Di Belahan Dunia sebanyak + 65.000.000 orang diseluruh dunia yang melibatkan kapasitas 124 Tera Bytes…. Apakah kurang bangga teman-teman melihat orang Indonesia yang mempunyai pemikiran yang cerdas seperti Pak David Ini ? kalau kurang ada game khusus buat Ujian Nasional yang direkomendasikan oleh Dinas Pendidikan Nasional untuk siswa yang akan menghadapi ujian nasional. cintai produk-produk Dalam negeri.
